A bunny drawing from my book “Ladybird: My Eight Lives”. This one shows the new owner petting Ladybird. The book was released in June 2016 and it chronicles the life of a typical rescue rabbit. The charcoal pencil drawings were later scanned and added to the book. India ink washes were scanned and colored on the computer.
Carolyn Crampton born in Larchmont, New York. She received her BFA in painting from University of Colorado. Her painting studio is at Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco. Crampton lives with rescued rabbits. She wrote and illustrated the books “Rabbit Language or ‘Are you going to eat that?’ “, and the just released "Ladybird: My Eight Lives", and illustrated “Dumbunny”.
