Meet BLOOM FACE, a giant photograph showcasing a wealth of art history. This is a world within a face, a universe in a close-up, a visual tapestry of history within one gaze. English landscapes, Flemish still lifes, battle scenes and sporting subjects collide in one surrealistic remix, interwoven with animals, insects, cherubs and flowers. This one piece took 6 months in the making, digitally collaging hundreds of classical paintings upon the face of a beautiful blonde model as the artist’s canvas.
Must watch the video!
This is the follow up to ‘Kai Face’ where artist Miss Aniela envisaged hundreds of ancient Chinese paintings on a face for a large-scale piece for Kai Mayfair, London. For BLOOM FACE, Miss Aniela wanted to create a new flavour with a European edge, from Flemish Baroque to English landscape: including Thomas Gainsborough, Peter Paul Rubens, Angelica Kauffman, Anthony Van Dyck, Jan Van Kessel, Alexandre Desportes and many more.
Discover the wealth of detail when experienced in print. The intention of the artist is for the viewer to lose themselves in exploring everything hidden within the detail. Find skulls, butterflies, a golden key; through to the surrealist intricacy: a swan with human arms, a canary in a jacket, a horse rider saddled on a petal.
The vast scale of its detail will always be best experienced 'in the flesh’. Be one of the few to own Bloom Face, available only as a limited edition.

Mixing fine art and fashion photography, Miss Aniela creates a fine balance of contemporary creativity. Her work centres on a fusion of traditional imagery and digitally enhanced motifs, interweaving in a surreal composition. In Surreal Fashion, Miss Aniela pictures contemporary models with a reference to Renaissance and Dutch masters, shooting in stately home settings across Europe and US. Larger-than-life characters preside over a dreamlike tableaux of chandeliers, taxidermy and four-poster beds; motifs for another, utopic world of the past that ...
