Spring Equinox > Green Goddess

With the shorter tail and wings, this looks like a Costa’s Hummingbird. It seems to just be starting to get its final feathers, so this is probably an immature male. The red flowers are Salvia, a hummingbird favorite. The white flowers belong to the daisy family of flowers. Because of the lighting and how fast the wings move, there is some blurry movement to the wings. Usually, I control all of the light in the photograph, but if there is ambient light I will get movement in the wings.

Face mounted acrylic prints are printed on metallic paper and face mounted to an acrylic front. They are ready to hang and provide a crisp clean look on your walls. The result is breathtaking. You can actually see through the picture when you hold it up to the light, but not when it is hanging on the wall. On the wall, it looks as though it is lit from within. This is my preferred way to print my photographs.
