Alice Koswara is a graphic designer and contemporary artist living in San Francisco with her husband Eric Phoneticontrol Broers and their two cats. She graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2001. She paints delicate ladies, animals and plant life. She draws inspiration from her collections of vintage ephemera, old movies, period fashion and vintage pinup girl posters. She works with watercolor, ink and acrylic. In 2010 she joined forces with her husband Phoneticontrol to form PHOKOS. She is now focusing on her watercolor works on paper.

Keeping it fresh on the West Coast. Art Attack SF is an art space for contemporary work and community-minded pop-up events. The gallery features rotating exhibitions of emerging artists primarily from the Bay Area and surrounding West Coast. Established in 2012, the gallery is located in San Francisco’s vibrant Castro district.
