A Moment in May - landscape painting with wild flowers and bird

A 30 x 30 x 1.5 inches pink and green oil painting of a Sussex inspired Spring landscape. Semi abstract, impressionist ,art nouveau in style, the painting shows a blue tit sitting on a stalk surrounded by white and cream cow parsley flowers with pink blossom hinted at behind and green grasses in the foreground. It was painted after a walk I took around Bodiam Castle area in May 2018. May is a wonderful month when all of nature goes barmy and that fleeting moment of wildflowers and bird activity is what I tried to capture in this painting. The paint is thick and has some plant dander in it which flew in the window as I was painting it. I was OK with this as it adds to the captured moment of the lovely season of May in England. The edges are white and no frame is needed.
I am an artist based in Sussex, England and I paint large landscape paintings and seascape paintings in oil on canvas. My painting style is not always easy to define but has elements of abstract, Impressionist, Expressionist and possibly some Art-Nouveau.
