Matt Rota is an illustrator whose clients include The New York Times, The New Yorker, The LA Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Criterion Collection, Der Spiegel, Vice, and more. He is an instructor at the Maryland Institute, College of art, and in SVA's Visual Narrative program. He has written two books on drawing, The Art of Ballpoint, and Pencil Arts Workshop, both from Rockport Press.
