I have a pink and green porcelain bowl that can hold several Gardenias in water. We all know how delicate they are and how easily they can react from touching them. In the Spring, they bloom in profusion and I cut them and place them gently in my bowl in the sun. This particular moment was just as the sun caught this one flower in its perfection - the warmth of the sun bringing out the exotic scent. I sat there for quite some time.
