Poppies and Lupines

Driving through the hill country of the mid-western section of the united States, one comes across these vast fields of wild flowers. Represented there are every color of the rainbow. The brightest ones caught my eye and I had to pull over and walk among them - being careful, of course, not to leave a path. I sat down at one point on a rock and just got lost in the quiet beauty.
