The remnants of "Frisco Pier" on the sandy shoreline of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina is a marvel unto itself. It once was a fully functioning all-wooden pier built more than a half Century ago. The many storms that have laid waste to structures along the Nags Head coastline has somehow spared some of the remaining pilings that stay tall still. Their swaying to the tidal waters speak to the stories they can tell.
