Birds of a Feather

A recent large painting of fabulous water birds that live in our neighborhood. A pair of great blue herons have been tending a nest in a tree next to a lake right across the street! An amazing daily inspiration watching the two babies grow. From left: great blue heron, wood stork, snowy egret, roseate spoonbill, reddish egret, great white egret, and brown pelican. All seem to coexist in peace, and delight me every day!! This piece was in an art show in Dunedin, Florida, and has sold. It is 24" x 48" I incorporated micaceous iron oxide in the background for a bit of sparkle!!
