Cherry Blossoms

One spring my cherry trees in front of my house bloomed to over flowing. Branches actually hung low from the heavy load of brilliant white blooms. For days I went out with my camera to capture this beauty. I snipped a small cluster of blooms and brought it back into my studio and quickly began the task of capturing what is a fleeting moment of natural beauty. Three days later I had this little oil painting done.
