James Long, b. 1953 American of Cape Verdean descendant James received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. He attended Kansas City Art Institute, Parsons School of Design, Pratt University, and the Fashion Institute of Technology in Paris. After a decade as an educator in NYC’s design schools he established Studio James Long.
