Loading real life preview
The image is produced by a combination of in-camera manipulation, layering and extensive computer processing. It is neither photography nor painting, but some as-yet undefined process halfway between the two. The original photographs in this case, two nudes and a still life, are totally unrecognizable. The title refers to the final appearance, not the subject matter.
Print sizes refer to paper dimensions, not image dimensions. Prints on 17" x 22" paper are made with minimum 1" margins and are open editions. Larger prints are made with 2" margins and are limited editions. All prints are made by me and are signed front and back, and dated. Limited edition prints come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Ed Freeman grew up in Boston and majored in French at Oberlin College in Ohio. After college, he worked as a performing musician, arranger and record producer on dozens of pop and jazz records, including Carly Simon's debut album and Don McLean's "American Pie."
