Steinhauer has been photographing in Southeast Asia, China, and India for 20 years. This image is part of Singapore Blocks, a series documenting the architecture of the Government Housing Blocks (HDB) in Singapore. Older structures such as this one are currently being demolished and replaced with larger, more modern buildings to accommodate the growing population.
